Sunstone, a member of the Feldspar family, is known for its warm shades of gold, orange, reds and browns that sparkle in the sun. Little specs of Goethite and Hematite are the inclusions that refract light between the different crystal layers to give that iridescent effect when the stone is viewed in the sunlight. It has been found in Norway, Sweden and some U.S. locations.
Whenever I see a sunstone I am immediately drawn to it’s beautiful iridescent effect, that is why I chose this stone.
This stone would make a eye-catching ring, you won’t be able to stop staring!
