Small Opal Fire Ring

from 145.00

Boulder opals are found in Queensland, Australia where they are mined from large ironstone boulders found underground. That's where thin veins of colorful opal form, in the fissures and cracks of the boulder. Because the opal is so thin, stone cutters usually leave a thick layer of ironstone to back it and form a proper sized stone.

*Pictures do not do these stones justice, they are incredibly flashy — especially in the sunlight. The finished ring is a size 7 and actually has some gorgeous red flashes to it.

*If you chose to purchase one of the loose opal stones for a ring be sure to let me know your size in the message section when you checkout.
